Testimonials
“It started with realization a realization years ago when I was visiting some of our projects with orphanages in Russia. I saw a big line of young women who were being trafficked. When I say young I mean 12 to 18 years of age, essentially sold on the street. I was thinking that there was a huge population in the world that I was naïve about and critically needed some reinforcement of self-reliance and self-determination in order to avoid those traps and that there might be some resources that we could contribute to that especially with international partners.“

WHAT PEOPLE SAY
JASMINE, UNIVERSITY OF SOUTH FLORIDA
My trip to Chiang Rai, Thailand was one of the best experiences in my entire life. I wouldn't trade it for the world and I would go back in a heartbeat whenever possible. Everything about this trip impacted me in a very real way and the amount of empowerment I felt as a student and as a woman was insurmountable.

You are entering a strong family environment when you work in the shelter. They are very smart, independent, and caring young women who have a strong sense of community with each other and the shelter staff.
